TriCastle2 XT

The TriCastle2 XT(xtra tuff or xtra tonnage  ) is the "Hummer" version of the Tricastle. Going on the premise that the TriCastle would not hold up over time, I looked for heavier guage aluminum. I found 2 Griddle inserts at the thrift store for 49 cents each. I increased the size to give a bigger burning chamber and still allow a Heine pot to sit on top without the grilling rack. My other thought was to allow it to fit in a dvd case but because of the ash grate tabs, it will need a thicker dvd case. This stove features a removeable door and grilling rack. The pot supports have been changed from points to "castle" blocks. The down side is that it weighs about 11 ounces or 314 grams. As you can see from the pics, it is much more beefier than the original TriCastle.
