Custom Firemugs for popular pots

They are all made from mugs but some mugs have rubber grippies that protrude through the sides. When you remove the grips, the holes are left.
With these smaller stoves I have been using a continuous windscreen with no gap (for handles) that either rests on another type of clip mount or on a clip and wire stand that can be inserted in the ground. This works extremely well and is easy to add and remove while burning.

It sure is a nice added plus that the grippies have left you some tactical looking air intake holes Nice choice!!!

The windscreen with the opening allows twigs to be feed in the side port, right?

I hadnt thought of that but I guess you are right. Having the gap in the windscreen does leave the hole open for adding fuel with these shorter stoves. I havent changed the way I do the clips since I have started using the shorter mugs. It is a design left over from doing the tall ones (back to the drawing board ) For 90% of what I do with them though I never add any wood. I have left the hole so that late fuel can be added for baking or whatever reason. The ends of the windscreen can be attached using the clips which is how I use it with the Starlyte stove.
The "micro stoves" are so short that there is really not enough space for the hole and really no need to add more fuel to obtain a boil. The windscreen that I have been using for the titan sized stove is 360deg.

You're right about stoves not having to be big. I've done the burn tests using 2 ounces of kiln dried oak and boiled 2 cups with it.

After my stuff is sorted I'll show some pics before I unload most of it to the thrift store.

Gets pretty warm inside there. Really puts out the max btu's. Does it burn efficiently...2 cups boiled with 17ml of denatured alcohol?
