Finally got the inner panel welded up and the skin is tacked on. I'l haveto wait till next Tuesday to finish the Q-panel.

I played hooky from work today. Told them "I didn't feel good." I left off the other half of the sentence: "about leaving my Bug in this state." So I sat around my garage and hammer/dolly-ed my front end back into shape. I started panishing the bit but ran out of steam as the panisher hammer just beats you up while using it.

The panisher is now known as the "punisher" Just think of the future when It's all painted and shining in all it's glorry. It will all be worth it.

I did some metal work to day Punched holes and sanded a titanium windscreen and then heat treated it. Turned out puuurrrtee.

Time to kick back and rest!!!

Welp folks, its been a while. I have 99% of the body work, rust repair, and welding done. The UPS man left 2 quarts of 1967 VW Ruby red at my door with some clear coat (What a nice guy!) The floors been rust proofed, tar boarded and covered up with a rubberized top. Its almost done!

Now we'll have to wait and see what kind of painter you are. We know you can do all the rest of the stuff. Now just don't mess it up Well! if you mess it up we can consider it as a "primer"

Yep It'll be done. It has to be done because I have to move. I'm "downsizing". I'm a gonna miss the 2 car garage. I'll still have a garage. Just a 1 car. Its a good thing tho. Less house = less maintenance, cheaper bills, fewer headaches = more smiles from me.

I wanna move this year. Thinking of becoming a snow bird. I have 2 campers big enough to live in. I can put one down south for winter use and one up north for summer. I think by fall I'll be ready to make the big decision.
