My whistle is built-in. Dual purpose item. Cools my hot food and makes the coyotes howl. Doesn't weigh anything, that's a plus ;)

I always wanted to be able to play a tune on a harmonica. They sound cool!

The harmonica is good for cowboy tunes and one of my favorite, the blues. I just picked up a harmonica traing kit at the book store. Now I just need the dedicated time to learn it :o

harmonica, recorder, fife, pennywhistle, and come to think of it, one of those mouthharp thingys would be pretty fun to play with. I would love to get my hands on one of RG'd ukes. I reckon that a mandolyn might be as easy to travel with as one of the so called "backpacking guitars". Oh yeah and dont forget about the "Zither"

Charangos are pretty small..and if you build them before the 'dillo dies they could probably walk in on their own! :o
