Won't be too long here in Northern IL we'll be able to take to the streams and catch a few for shore lunches. Early last week there was a large flock of Robins that spent the day eating the seeds of my White Ash trees. There were so many I had to take a video ofthem. I'll see if I can get that loaded today. Lucky folks like yourself can fish year round

Robins stopped by my place for a morning meal. Hard to tell but there are a lot up in the trees.

On the robins......although not legal to do.......my great Uncles and grandfather would make darn fine table fair of those back in the day.
Cannot tell you how many met their maker at the end of a Benjamin Pellet gun.

Plenty of Robins and plenty of snow. Our snow is about all gone after today's warm temperatures. Cajun Red Breast if it moves, someone, somewhere will eat it

I like the looks of cajun food and recipes. Anything they cook, I'll eat......within reason In the movie Fried Green Tamaters, that blonde haired cajun girl cooked up a law boss. Don't think I'll have a plate full of that
