FYI: Another interesting idea from T. A heat exchanger for Ti mugs. Not much test data on how much they affect the boil time, but an interesting concept. Maybe a good idea for a dual purpose (wind screen/heat exchanger) wind screen design?

interesting.
i played around with a folded heat exchanger - pics are long gone - but hard to make and heavy, the way i was doing it.
didn't pack well (like to keep things contained in my pot / mug) and didn't seem to add any serious advantage to burn time.

Looks fragile, and too deep for good combustion of fuel under pot. The deep indented electric pot comes to mind, the one I thought was the ideal pot :roll:
