Make the distance 2" from top of burner to bottom of heat exchanger and pots. Use high temp silicone from automotive store. Used as gasket glue for engine blocks. 1/8" cork should work nicely. 1/2" space between pot and wall of windscreen. Make sure you sufficient incoming air holes at base of winds...

Long time no see :-) put together a wooden unit similar to a bread slicer about 1 inch taller than the diameter of the kettle. Have it so the kettle fits tight in the wooden fixture and then use your sawzall on slooooow speed to make the cut following the channel in the fixture. Or use a hacksaw. Ad...
