Re: A Place to Vent Frustrations

So now you are upset because your "copycat model" isn't doing as well as someone else's? Still sounds like mountains out of dung piles. Vibe, I make and sell only one stove because I feel it is one of the best all around stoves out there. Not perfect but darn close. For the record, I neve...

Re: A Place to Vent Frustrations

Vibe,

FYI: I've started rolling the one piece design shortly after Tinny came out with the first Bios which was long before Zelph started to make his copy cats models. I just never liked the way they worked. They are easier to build than my design too.

Re: A Place to Vent Frustrations

Daren, The request you just quoted should have be enough for Dan to refrain from using my trademarked names with anything he is selling. I don't have a problem with the trademark names being on this site as long as they are not used in conjunction with him selling his stoves. I respect his originali...

Re: A Place to Vent Frustrations

Ridgerunner, So you are saying it isn't Cobalt type stove... well it isn't a WBS type either. Examine the one piece construction of the cobalt and BIOS2 stoves versus the two piece construction of the WBS and it more closely resembles a Cobalt and a BIOS2. So once again the WBS stove design is being...

Re: A Place to Vent Frustrations

Ridgerunner Bill, if you read the thread, "ELF" is basically saying that the Bios2 is a COPY of your WBS. ;) Sure, the inner wall is not funneled like yours but it is basically the same. I havn't read anywhere where you had any issues that Tinny is selling his stove based on your design. ...

Re: A Place to Vent Frustrations

Bill in MT[/quote] I'm curious. Which of the stoves on this site is being called a WBS or White Box Stove? I haven't seen one. Did I miss it? The WBS and the Bios stoves get REFERRED to quite a bit, but like I mentioned in another post, Ford compares their product to Dodge and Chevy, Coke compares t...

Re: Using HEET for testing

Zelph,

How come the "white box stove" testing thread is locked?

I'd like to know where you got the last post information about the Bios2.

Re: Using HEET for testing

Just my two cents worth... After you agree on a fuel type then you need to agree on a particular cook pot type or else your results will be different because of different shapes and widths of various pots used. Some stoves like the WBS work better with a wider pot where the Starlyte might work bette...

Re: So...what made you go to a lightweight stove?

Years ago I had a Coleman Peak 1 and thought it was the greatest thing ever made. Had a lot of friends jealous because of the small size. Then a couple of years ago I got a Simmerlite. Always liked that stove but it was a pain with the hose and priming the fuel tank and then I never could figure out...
